NYX Lingerie Matte Liquid Lipstick review

Hello all, So I’m back with another lip product review. This product has been heavily reviewed as *most* of us know and the majority rave about them. But it’s time to be more honest. I made my trip the NYX counter in Boots, Newcastle with my hopes set high. These liquid lipsticks were the ‘in-thing’ and everyone in the beauty world was talking about them. I had to get my hands on one to give it a try! The price tag of £6.50 was good, too. The shade I chose to buy is Exotic. It is a beautiful warm mahogany red shade and the pigmentation is great. So, they are not…

    March Beauty Faves!

There’s been drastic weather conditions here in the UK over the last few months and my skin and hair have needed that little extra TLC. I decided that it’d be a grand idea to compile a list of my fave skincare/beauty/hair products for these weather conditions. Not all products will have reviews as I’ve already previously reviewed some of them on other posts and will attach links to all of these posts alongside the product.   1) Urban Decay – All Nighter Setting Spray  [Debenhams – £23.50, 118ml] I’d been scouring the shops looking for something that could help keep my make-up in tact all day. It took a couple of…

Sleek Makeup Solstice Highlighting Palette (Review)

Welcome, For this review, I’m going to be honest and tell you all exactly what I think about this palette. Review If you want to be a shining and glowing goddess then this is the palette for you. Honestly, the ‘Rose Gold’ packaging even makes me squeal a little, it is so fancy. Apologies for the poor picture quality but it is difficult to take pictures of this palette because the packaging is basically a mirror. Also, mine is mildly scratched at this point because I’ve used it so much. In saying all this, I still get excited every time I look at it. (Not because I can see my…

    Fave Haircare Products

In short, a couple of years ago I took a leap of faith and got the ends of my hair dip dyed. For someone who’d never dyed their hair before this was quite a scary experience. I became obsessed with hair care once it was dyed because these beautiful locks require a lot of maintenance. It’s expensive to have hair this good – trust me. So I decided to share with you what I believe to be the best hair-care products for coloured hair. 1) Bleach London Reincarnation Mask (Boots – £6) Hey now, hey now this is what dreams are made of! (Sorry, Lizzie Mcguire reference had to be used…

    Sleek Makeup: Matte Me Lipcreams

Matte Me: Bittersweet [nude pink] & Old Hollywood [deep red] Sorry for being gone a while but I finally have a custom domain! It took a while to set up and I had to move to WordPress as it was easier to use a custom domain on here. At least I found it easier to do. Anyway, I’m back and here’s a new review… When I came across these lip creams in Superdrug, I was intrigued to try them. Lip creams are not unheard of but not something I’d tried myself. I chose the shades: Bittersweet & Old Hollywood. Bittersweet is a nude pink and it’s gorgeous, as is Old Hollywood…
