Hey everyone, so instead of doing a TBR list I think I may do these lists from now on instead. I never stick to a TBR list anyway, so I might as well tell you what I’m actually reading. I won’t be giving synopsis’ for the books on these lists unless you’d all like for me too. Let’s dive right in and see what books have got all of my attention this week…
The Last Snow by Stina Jackson (Uncorrected Bound Proof)
Page Count: 251/374

Firstly, a huge thank you to Random Things Tours and Corvus Books for sending a copy of this to me. I can’t give away too much about this book as I’m part of the tour on February 16th. This book is being released on February 4th so keep an eye out for it! Sorry – that’s all I’m saying for now.
The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu
Page Count: 63/313

The truth is I was supposed to read this one back in November as part of a book club, but I’m a mess 99.9% of the time so I never got round to it. Although, I’m not that far into this book I do love the world-building. Seeing The Kingdom of Back being brought to life by Nennerl Mozart as she tells her musical prodigy brother, Wolfgang Mozart daily stories is a magical experience. You’d find it difficult to not be swept into this fantasy land. It’s written in almost a melodic style, as if you’re a part of the musical compositions the children play and I find that to be beautiful. Hopefully, my love for this book just continues to grow!
Bridgerton Collection: The Duke and I by Julia Quinn
Page Count: 40/352

Yes, I absolutely had to find a way to continue my Bridgerton obsession after watching the Netflix series. It’s so amazing, and The Duke of Hasting’s can visit me any day, ok? Just saying. The first three books in the series are on Kindle for £5.99 – £2 per book! Truthfully, I’d much rather own these prettier paperback copies but with the series popularity, it’s not the cheapest option to buy all nine books outright. I’m enjoying it so far but it’s early days. I’ll be sure to update you all the further into the book I get!
The Bottles of Tears by Nick Alexander
Page Count: 51/356

I got The Bottle of Tears randomly when I decided to get Kindle Unlimited. It’s fine so far, nothing to get overly excited about. I relate most to the way the sisters argue in this book so far, as my sister and I can argue in a similar way. As I’m not that far into the book, I think it’s too early to say if I’m enjoying it or not really. I sit firmly on the fence at the moment.
What are you all reading this week?
