A New Venture + 🎄GIVEAWAY ANNOUNCEMENT🎄
‘Ello, ‘Ello,
It’s been a while since I last did a post that wasn’t 100 percent book related. I’m going to jump right in with a little life update, my new venture, and finally, the Giveaway I’ve got coming up.
If you’ve been with me a while, you know there will be times when I’m M.I.A. Yes, the blog and I have an on/off relationship, but deep down, we love each other dearly. The truth is, I’m just super busy with work that by the time I have the chance to read on a night, I just want to sleep instead. This does not mean that I’m quitting blogging – I’m not. Not even slightly, I’m just in a little slump at the moment and need some to recuperate.
So that’s the life update – thrilling, I know. The next update is that I’ve started a Podcast! Having my own podcast show is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time now. I never had the time to set up accounts and such like so it took me a long time to get round to doing it. But this is my brand new venture, and in time, it will likely replace my YouTube channel. I spend most of my days editing videos now, and honestly, that’s enough for me. I don’t need to be editing my own videos as well after work. Seriously, I applaud anyone who does full-time YouTube and spends all day making videos for work too because damn, that is hard.
Anyway, here is my first ever Podcast episode:

INTRODUCTION + BOOK REVIEW – LucyRambles
It’s true that I didn’t script the episode because I prefer to ‘speak from the heart’ – ew. No, I actually just didn’t have the time and I feel more relaxed when I’m not stressing about saying something incorrectly. If you enjoyed it, please let me know so I can continue making them.
Finally, the moment you’ve all been waiting for…
🎄 GIVEAWAY ANNOUNCEMENT 🎄
Oh, how I love a good Giveaway. For the first 12 days of December, I’m doing a 12 Days of Christmas Bookish Giveaway over on my Twitter @bookblogrt, @lucyrambles, and on Instagram @lucyrambles_.
This Giveaway is UK only – apologies to international fellow book lovers. At this time of year it’s too difficult to get things shipped internationally, especially with the on-going lockdowns. Everyone’s buying Christmas presents online too, so it makes sense to keep it to the UK.
Anyway, here are the details you need:
I’m so excited to do this as I’m teaming up with loads of Small Businesses who really need our support more than ever. I’d love for as many UK Book Bloggers/BookTubers and book lovers as possible to get involved. It’s going to be super fun!
Best wishes, and festive cheer,
Lucy xo
