It’s been a while since I did a Q&A post and I figured doing one about my love for Autumn would be interesting. Some of my fab twitter followers sent me some questions in so I’ll answer them as best I can!
1. Have you ever been away for Autumn? If so, where to? – @imlaurenbate
Sadly, I’ve never been away during autumn. I class being ‘away’ as being abroad. I would love to go to Disneyland for Halloween though. It is my life goals to see The Nightmare Before Christmas cast. One day it will happen!
2. How does your skincare change as you go into Autumn/Winter? – @lucy_carter96
I’ve previously written posts all about my struggles with Eczema. For the colder months, my skin definitely needs extra TLC to make it through the days. I tend to opt for thick moisturisers and creamy, non-drying cleansers. My favourites would be Liz Earle Cleanse and Tone and Origins Moisturiser. Find out more about what products I use on eczema prone skin here.
3. What’s your favourite autumnal smell? – @imlaurenbate
Truthfully, I love the smell of a Pumpkin Spice Latte. I’m one of those people who eagerly awaits its return. But I also love the smell of the rain on the pavements. Not sure if that sounds odd but there is something refreshing about.
4. What is your favourite TV series to watch in Autumn? – @bloggingbysoph
I love watching The Originals. The darkness outside matches the spooky atmosphere of supernatural New Orleans. Netflix always release the new seasons around that time of year. And it looks like the fifth and final season is airing on 1st September. You can’t see me, but I was happy dancing when I found that out.
5. What is your favourtie Autumn drink? – @longroadtowalk
As already stated, I love the smell of Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes so they are my favourite autumn drink! I actually prefer that they only come around once a year ’cause then I don’t get bored of them… or go broke.
6. What is your Go To Autumnal Outfit? – @imogen_chloe27
A few of you asked me this one. My go-to is always a big cosy jumper, black skinny jeans and heeled chelsea boots. It’s a clean and simple look sometimes styled with a beanie. I can’t provide a pic of me in the outfit as I don’t like pics taking of me. But this Pinterest outfit is about what it looks like!
Until Next Time,
