Since I’m on a roll with writing at the moment, I decided I wanted to mellow a little bit and do a nice post about all the wonderful things I’m grateful for. I may not have the most glamorous life but at the moment, it’s a happy and content one. So I’m good with that! I ramble on too much – ironically – so let’s get to it.
I was starting to get pretty concerned that I’d never get any work placements that I need to do for my 3rd year at uni. Instead of panicking, I dove in head first and started emailing different companies asking if they’d give me a chance to work for them. Luckily, I got two really great work placements lined up within a couple of weeks and I’m so grateful. To think a year ago, I wouldn’t have even dared email anyone asking for placements and now I have two lined up is huge for me. I will be thanking both companies profusely for giving me such fantastic opportunities towards my dream career. Unfortunately, I’ve had to drop one of them due to a leg injury but I’m still grateful that I was given a chance. Another cool opportunity is that I’m now part of a Book Reviewers Program with bookglow.net.
My Family and Friends
I’m always thankful for this group of people who change my life for the better every day. The light and joy every single one of these people bring to my life is so empowering and refreshing. I’ve been in and out of friendships and been hurt a lot so I”m glad to finally have people who care about me and love me as much as I do them. It’s gotten to the point where I class my friends as my family. I appreciate all of you and all you’ve done for me. I couldn’t be surrounded by more supportive and loving people and I’m incredibly grateful for that. By this point, I’m sure you know who you are. Don’t worry Jonny, you can also have a shoutout for being a great boyfriend (sometimes) and putting up with me. Here’s a few pics of me and some my friends:
The Blogging Community
Last but not least, the blogging community are a beautiful group of people. I’ve only joined in the last couple of months but I’m so glad I did. You’re all so incredibly kind and supportive. The RT accounts deserve so much praise as well, to name a few: Influencer_RT, UKBloggers1, BloggersTribe, GRLPowrChat and so many more. Your endless help to bloggers is much appreciated. I’m so inspired by all the bloggers I know every day, you all work so damn hard to make your blogs the way they are and you deserve every success. Don’t give up until you get what you want, you got this! Thank you all for being so welcoming and supportive always. It means the world.
Also want to give a lil shoutout to some of my fave bloggers (& their twitters):
Brooke Pearson (@Life0fBr00ke)
Lauren Robinson (@LaurenRobinsons)
Niamh Derby (@niamhderby_)
Keeley Rose (@longroadtowalk)
This is not an exhaustive list by the way – there are many, many more I love. You’re all amazing, keep up the hard work and you’ll do great things as a blogger!
I’d love to know what you lovely lot are grateful for this month – or even in general!
Until next time,
