I’m trying to come up with new post introductions but ‘ello is gunna have to do for now. Anyway, as I’m travelling to Egypt this week I really wanted to do a travel related post. Ever since going to New York in 2016 I’ve been obsessed with going to new places. I could not think of anything more incredible or humbling than seeing all the amazing places this world has to offer. Without further ado, here is my ultimate travel bucket list.
The truth is I’m not sure which part of Australia I’d love to travel to most. It’d be extremely cool to go from West to East coast or vice versa. There’s something almost enchanting about the concept of travelling to the other side of the world. I’d also love to go diving in the Great Barrier Reef if it’s still possible to do so when I eventually get there!
Honestly, I just want to travel around the entirety of Italy as well. I adore the architecture. It has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. I’m crossing everything I have that I get to travel to at least one part of Italy in 2019. Testing out Italian food and coffee will be unreal. I get excited just thinking about going.
Los Angeles (LA)
The Hollywood vibe makes me want to visit and the walk of fame. Brushing shoulders with the stars would be super cool (now that I’ve said this it probably doesn’t happen that often). Hiking up to the Hollywood sign and seeing all of LA would be a dream come true. Honestly, I need some more American pancakes and french toast too – I miss them dearly.
I’m absolutely sure the song ‘San Francisco’ by Scott McKenzie has inspired this undying need I have to visit. This song often randomly pops to mind, don’t ask me why. I’d love to see the streets lined with colourful houses and of course, The Golden Gate bridge.
The thought of sunning it up in the Maldives actually makes me want to wipe out my savings and go immediately. There’s few things I imagine I’d find more relaxing – and possibly even romantic. The overwater bungalows make me all heart eye emoji to be honest.
See The Northern Lights (Iceland/Sweden)
I adore pictures of the Northern Lights; their beauty is other worldly and it would be so magical to see them in person. It would the most incredible experience. According to some articles, Sweden is actually the best vantage points to see the Northern Lights from. Visiting the first ever Ice Hotel would be really cool too… I promise that pun wasn’t intended.
Island hopping around Greece sounds like an amazing trip. The buildings and beaches look so beautiful. The weather ain’t half bad either. A couple of my friends have been and adored it so my feelings towards Greece will probably be very similar.
I adore the architecture in Croatia – if something can set your heart alight in a good way then that’s what it does to me. I’d love to go Island hopping here as well. I feel that when you visit one part of a particular place, you miss so much that the rest has to offer.
I’ve wanted to travel here for so long and after reading Molly’s post (it’s so good) I want to visit even more. Visiting the Arc De Triomf sounds like a dream and all the bars/restaurants mentioned in Molly’s post sound fantastic. I was ready to pack my bags and go after reading it. Going on a themed route through the city would make my heart sing. I’m aware I sound dramatic, but again, the architecture looks insanely beautiful.
Well, that’s all for now. There may be a part 2 because there are so many places I want to visit. Where do you most want to travel to?
Until next time,
