July Beauty Faves!

I haven’t done a faves post since March which is pretty shabby on my part, apologies! But I am back with my July faves and these beauty products hold a special place in my heart. It’s a mix-up of skincare, haircare and make-up that have worked wonders for me this past month. There’s going to be five products featured in this post.
Yves Saint Laurent – Collectors Edition Touche ÉCLAT Concealer/Highlighter (£25.50 – FeelUnique)
I have been obsessed with this ever since I bought my first Touche Éclat back in November last year.  For a product celebrating it’s 25th birthday, it just goes to show what a timeless classic this is! I use the shade 1 – Luminous Radiance as I’m quite pale. This concealer/highlighter really does the trick under my eyes which is where I use the most concealer. Once I put this on, I genuinely look more alive which can only be a good thing as I usually look exhausted 24/7. If you fancy a luxury splurge then I’d recommend this product to you. It goes on smoothly, easy to blend and really covers up and brightens those dark under eye circles! I have sensitive skin and I have no bad reactions to this product. And not to mention how cute the packaging is for this Collector’s edition version! The original version is on FeelUnique at £25.00 as well and comes in a wider variety of shades. Quick, go grab one before they sell out!

Liz Earle – Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Pink Pepper and Mint (£16 – Boots)
It’s quite devastating to know this product was limited edition because it really has worked incredibly well for my skin. I suffer from dry skin/eczema and this cleanser has greatly improved the quality of my skin. I have used the original Hot Cloth Cleanser that comes in a green bottle/tube and can now be bought in boots, hallelujah! Honestly, I was quite surprised by how amazing this product is given that it’s quite inexpensive. I’d be willing to pay a lot more for this product than £14.00. It comes packaged with two muslin cloths if you purchase the starter pack (linked in title) which are used to wipe the product off. If I’m totally honest, you probably could use any face cloth to wipe it off with. This is another highly recommended product.
L’Oreal Paris Elvive – Extraordinary Oil (£9.99 – Boots)
I have reviewed this product previously on my haircare faves post and it still stays as one of my all time faves. I cannot get over the magic this works on my hair. This hair oil gets slathered on the ends of my hair before blow-drying and it really does protect my hair from heat damage. I sincerely believe that if I wasn’t using this product my hair would be ruined by now. It leaves my hair: soft, shiny and with limited split ends. It might seem pricey at £9.99, but it’s 100 per cent worth every penny that is spent on it.
Sleek Makeup – Solstice highlighting palette (£9.99 – Superdrug)
I have reviewed this before and I’ll do it again because this product deserves every single bit of praise it receives. One quick swipe of the brush in this product and it leaves you glowing like a god/goddess! I will never get over the fact this is only £9.99. The pigmentation is beautiful and all the shades are individually stunning. This highlighting palette makes my heart sing with joy. The packaging is super fancy too which I just love! I’ll link my full blog post review here because I go into a lot more depth there about my thoughts on this product. I genuinely think it outshines Anastasia Beverely Hills palettes.
Make-up Forever – HD powder (£24.50 – Debenhams)
I’d never used a Make-up forever product before I bought this one and it was the price tag that put me off. I can’t bare spending more than £10 on a make-up product (or anything, actually) these days without breaking out into nervous sweats! But surprisingly enough, I found this at the amazing price of £9.99 in TK Maxx. Guys, this is usually £24.50 and I got it for £9.99. Bargain hunter extraordinaire or what?! But anyway, moving along to talking about the actual product. Seriously, it is everything and more. The powder is so light-weight and easy to blend. I tend to use it for ‘baking’ and it genuinely holds my make-up in place all day. It leaves my make-up looking so smooth and my under eyes don’t crease. This is a miracle in a pot.
Hope you enjoyed reading about my July faves. Comment below and let me know what products you’re in love with this month!

Until next time,

Luce xo
